You gotta love a winter wedding! Winter might not be the most popular season to get married, but just because you might not be able to have an outdoor wedding, it doesn’t mean you can’t have an amazing one! Today’s lovely couple, Chelsi and Steven, got married in Mooresville, North Carolina, on 1st of December and they ensured that their wedding and small details reflected the winter spirit.
They chose to have their ceremony at dusk, which was beautifully lit up by the many string lights scattered on trees.
Over to Jen Yuson Photography who captured this beautiful day….
Many of the details of Chelsi and Steven’s wedding were DIY. They gave their guests cups of artificial snow to throw as they exited – a perfect alternative to the traditional flower petals and confetti.
They coated the insides of their candle holders with gold glitter that emitted such a beautiful warm glow when they were lit.
They used wood trunk as an alternative to the traditional guest book, and to stay in theme, they placed pinecones down the aisle, on the tables, and on top of the cake.
They also had a build your own hot chocolate bar for which they set out little dishes of marshmallows, crushed peppermint sticks, and chocolate shavings.
