If you have been keeping an eye on fashion magazines recently, you will have noticed that there has been a surge of pretty lace dresses being featured as the look for summer.
Christopher Kane‘s launched his s/s 2011 catwalk collection featuring fluorescent leaser-cut leather numbers. And, by the look of it, the bold colours and lace have resulted in an incredible amount of brands picking up the trend.
My favourite is by far Issa’s new Color Lace Capsule Collection. Check these dresses out! They make some stunning bridemaids dresses. Ok, I know, the price is rather prohibitive, but what stops you from recreating the look by sourcing out some colourful lace and getting a dressmaker?
For fabrics have a look at The Silk Society – they are based in Noel Street, near Liberty, and stock an incredible array of colourful fabrics for wedding and bridemaids’ dresses.
