Back to work here at Linen & Silk and this week promises to be a super busy one! Today I just want to share with you some of my favourite rubber stamps.
Stamps are one of those things I have always been fascinated by. We seem to be enjoying a return to old traditions at the moment, and if you go on Etsy you will find an infinite range of rubber stamps for all occasions. If you are into stationery and like to DIY, then a wedding is definitely a good excuse to use rubber stamps, so below are a few ideas…
- Invites, Save the Date and RSVP: On Etsy you can easily find a designer who will do a bespoke stamp for you. You wedding stationery will look unique and personal, which, if you are planning to have a traditional wedding, I think is a great way to set the tone to your day.
- Address stamp: in all sorts of shapes and fonts, they would look beautiful on your invites’ envelopes. I love these white tag shaped ones on which you can then write the address of the person you are addressing the letter to.
- Favours stamps: simple, yet elegant, I love this really cute idea of buying small fabric pouches and a little rubber stamp with your names and wedding day to personalise your gift favours. The handmade heart is also a great idea for homemade favours like jam jars, lavender pouches and anything else you will be making with your lovely hands.
- Portraits stamps: perfect to add a fun touch to your wedding stationery. All you need to do is send a portrait picture of you two and the stamp designer will reproduce it on a stamp for you.
