I’ve been after a Brit-Stitch bag for a while now, but it was never the right time, until… Just a couple of days ago I was happily wasting some time on Facebook when my eyes caught sight of this picture (below) and saw the hashtag #LFWsamplesale… Give me colourful leather bags and throw in a super discount and you’ll have me clicking on that Pay Now button before your browser has even managed to load up this entire page! It took me about 30 seconds to decide that the ‘Half Pint Stormy Sea‘ model would be perfect for me. A bit darker than the Dusk Blue model below {update: my eyes were tricked! Having just received my satchel, I can confirm that the one below is the Stormy Sea model!) it seems like the perfect Autumn colour, adding a splash of colour and softening head-to-toe black outfits (in true Milan girl style, that’s what you’re likely to find me wearing in autumn/winter!). And reduced down to £35 it was a bargain I couldn’t miss!
In the past I used to wear maxi-bags only. It might be planners’ default behaviour, but bringing make up, a diary, a notebook, two phones (don’t ask!) and an iPad had become a regular habit for me, until an accident in October 2012, when I ended up with a whiplash that took me far too long to ‘shake off’ (you never quite do, it seems!) and that totally changed this unhealthy habit of mine. I got used to bringing less and less because of the tension on my shoulders, and now, believe it or not, I don’t even carry a wallet unless I really have to!
So this 20 x 17cm little beauty is going to be added to my collection of small bags I so badly rely on now. Mine is due to be delivered tomorrow. Once I receive it I might even take a couple of outfit pictures with it and show you what it looks like 😉
Don’t you just love this Buckle Jazzy red bag too? Available on the sample sale is the Full Pint version. Had I not gone for the Half Pint Stormy Sea, this one would have definitely been my next choice!
xoxo Betta
{PS: this is NOT a sponsored post. I just love these bags and really fancied sharing the love}
