Such a sweet, relaxed wedding on the blog this morning, beautifully captured by Kaity at Photo Love!
Angela and John got married last summer in Arkansas, USA. They met by chance when they were paired up to play a mixed double tennis match… Fast forward to 5th July 2012 and we find Angela and John tying the knot in a relaxed outdoor ceremony that incorporated small nods to their passion for tennis and the place where it all begun…
I love how Angela incorporated red in her theme, adding a bit of glamour to their rustic, outdoor wedding.
Angela and John also found a way to incorporate their passion for tennis by tying their rackets to the back of their chairs, created a couple of cute tennis-themed cake toppers painted by John himself, and tying their rings to a tennis ball that their ring bearer carried to the alter.
Their reception was a relaxed, red-themed affair providing entertainment for children and lots of dancing. They surprised their guests with a Foxtrot dance as their first dance, for which they had to take dance lessons and keep it a secret from all their guests.
I love how this couple kept their floral decoration beautiful and simple at the same time, by using rustic vases of wood and terracotta e red paper ribbon tied around it! Definitely an idea to steal!
