A multicultural destination wedding in Italy at La Badia di Orvieto


I&P are a couple of busy professionals from London who in the summer 2018 decided to tie the knot with a destination wedding in Italy at La Badia di Orvieto. 

La Badia di Orvieto is one of the most iconic destination wedding venues we have in my beloved Italy. Set in the Umbria countryside, this venue is part of an original Benedictine abbey of year 1100. With its open air nave, and incredible views of the town of Orvieto, this venue oozes history, as well as intimacy and magic like no other. 

With the weather on our side, I&P’s September wedding turned out to be perfect. A ceremony in the La Badia’s own church, followed by outdoor antipasti in the lawn overlooking the valley, an al fresco dinner in the old nave and an evening reception under the starry sky, with live DJ, drums and sax.
