Buon giorno lovelies! My post today is aimed primarily at my Italian readers, so apologies to anyone who isn’t Italy-based.
Not too long ago I was approached by event planner Sabina Fantin to let me know of a new initiative that wedding & parties designer Iciban has launched. “Unconventional Wedding” is a new Italian workshop for brides to teach them how to create invitations, table plans, escort cards and everything paper-related for their wedding in a way that is unique and original.
Silvia of Iciban says: “I love the kind of wedding world that is different and non-conventional. I love the fact that couples have total freedom to express themselves without being tied to old cliché. Plus, DYI’ing your own day gives you incredible satisfaction, not to mention the opportunity to save you money.”
And that’s why “Unconventional Wedding” was created. During the workshop, brides will be taught how to develop two completely opposite styles: modern…
You will learn how to use stamps for your stationery, how to decorate recycled jars to create table numbers, create unusual table plans using glitter, pins, punchers etc. We will spend time explaining and putting into practice what you have learnt, but Silvia will also be available to help you develop the theme you may have already thought of for your own wedding. Iciban ill suggest websites and American blog to draw inspiration from, and will give you the names of some of her preferred suppliers of prints, stamps, labels, paper stockist and other materials that will be used in the workshop.
So, here are the details:
